NSW Youth Advisory Council: Closes 10 Oct 2008

The NSW Minster for Youth, the Hon. Linda Burney, is inviting young people in NSW to nominate themselves for appointment to the NSW Youth Advisory Council for 2009. Applications are particularly being sought from young people with experience and a keen interest in youth affairs.
The NSW Youth Advisory Council advises the NSW Government on issues of importance to young people. It provides a direct avenue of communication between the young people of NSW and the NSW Government. The Council was established under the Youth Advisory Council Act (1989) and reports to the Minister for Youth.
There will be 12 appointments of up to 12 months to the NSW Youth Advisory Council. It is anticipated that appointments will be announced before the end of December 2008.
