Children’s rights and development advocate organisation Save the Children Australia (SCA) has announced its intention to create a Youth Advisory Panel to assist its Board and Programs Department in their planning for future projects.

At this stage, SCA is looking for input on the concept from young people who have had experience in similar activities or who are just curious about the aid and development sector and its work with children. SCA will work with them to develop formal terms of reference for the panel, gauge initial ideas and plan timelines for their implementation.

The Youth Advisory Panel Planning Session will be held at:
9:00AM – 12:15PM, Saturday 18 November, 2006
Collingwood Library
11 Stanton St (right next to Collingwood Train Station)
ABBOTSFORD VIC 3067

Participants will be provided with lunch and will also receive two complimentary movie tickets as a thank-you for their time.
