Things have been pretty slow around here lately, with very little to report at either the international and Australian level. However, I expect that a few projects that I’ve been involved with will come to fruition and bring some news early - mid next week though, so stay tuned.

If you are currently visiting this website regularly in the hope for new posts, you may be interested in instead subscribing to this website and its contents via RSS. RSS is a syndication protocol that allows you to view updates to this website via a news aggregator - a program that pulls content from this site and then displays it for you in a centralised location. A single subscription in your news aggregator to this website won’t save you much time - after all, it’s the same content, only formatted differently by your program - but if you are subscribing to the RSS feeds of several websites then instead of visiting each of them every day looking for new material, you can simply open up your news aggregator and read all the new entries from all of the websites at once. This, of course, saves a lot of time, especially if you are tracking numerous websites.

There are many news aggregators available: I use a free online service called Bloglines. Google Reader and Newsgator are similar services, both of which are also free.

Once you have signed up to a service or downloaded a news aggregator, add The Wellspring’s RSS feed address at http://feeds.feedburner.com/AlanWu/ to your subscriptions, and you’re set! (If you ever lose this address, you can find it again by clicking on the small, orange RSS feed icon currently located in the right sidebar.)

Happy subscribing!
