Blogging may be scarce over the next week or so as I’m in Beijing at the invitation of China’s State Council, attending their ‘Discovery Trip for Eminent Young Overseas Chinese.’ From what I can tell, it’s a primer on Chinese society, with guided excursions to Beijing’s major commercial and political areas, cultural performances, and meetings with Chinese officials. I’ll be back in Australia from the 4th of September, 2006.
